Missionary available for talks – 1st to 14th JUNE
An Australian missionary, Anne Miettinen, is due to visit England this summer and will be splitting her time between London and Sheffield.
Anne Miettinen is a missionary from Brisbane, Australia, who works amongst the poor in the Philippines, Tonga and other Asia-Pacific islands. Her work focuses mainly on children from the streets and the slums, to whom she brings the good news of Jesus Christ and sets up schools for their free education. The dates for Anne’s visit to England are from the 1st-14th June.

THE PREDATORS – a Band Available for Outreach!!
You might be interested to know about the reformation of the Predators rock band and possibly be able to help them find opportunities for outreach in difficult areas and settings in Sheffield.
The band worked for many years in ordinary clubs and pubs in the Stockport / Manchester area in the 80′s taking the gospel of Jesus into some pretty hard-edged situations. They used a mixture of high energy music, drama and a no-nonsense down to earth message. Although the band later became relatively well known (i.e. regular Greenbelt main-stage contributor and produced 3 albums),their heart was always more concerned with grass roots evangelism in ordinary venues.
They have been busy rehearsing the original material and writing new songs that speak about current issues and situations, and now have a few gigs lined up in Stalybridge, Holmfirth and Sheffield:
